1. Brett Eldredge – ‘Sunday Drive’
Brett Eldredge changed direction for his latest album ‘Sunday Drive’, embracing a more adult contemporary feel. Digging into his own life and baring his soul, Eldredge has crafted an album that’s layered, complex and full of brilliant stories. The title track (which Eldredge didn’t co-write) is a timely reflection on the passing of time, lead single ‘Gabrielle’ is a jingly-jangly piano-led Harry Connick Jr-like midtempo track, and ‘Where The Heart Is’ is big on atmosphere and scope. ‘Crowd My Mind’ though, might be the best song Eldredge has committed to record yet.
