The latest episode of Billions, saw Axe (Damian Lewis) continue his war against Taylor (Asia Kate Dillion).

If you’re not up to date with Billions and like to avoid spoilers we suggest you don’t read any further.

At Axe Cap, Dollar Bill (Kelly AuCoin) had what he thought was a surefire way to make money. It involved the Arkansas chicken index, but didn’t turn out as they expected. As hard as Bill tried, he ended up having to take a loss.

Hall (Terry Kinney) went to great lengths to spy on Taylor Mason Capital. This included hacking their remote logins, when this was blocked off he resorted to an Israeli spy cam that could look through privacy glass. He managed to get a snap of a derivative that Taylor was working on with their father.

Axe intially thought it was their way of combating his efforts but further scrutiny revealed a mistake. It turned out that Taylor knew Axe was watching and used it as a way to request an armistice. Axe met with them and agreed a truce but a conversation with Wags (David Costabile) revealed he’s not done yet.

Chuck (Paul Giamatti) spent the episode trying to prevent an article being published about an old case that could hurt him and had links to his father. It initially looked like he’d talked the whistleblower down but Sacker (Condola Rashad) got involved and the article went ahead.

At the end of the episode, Chuck asked Axe for help in winning the election. In return he offered to help Axe once in position. Axe agreed and said he had a favour in mind that he’d reveal once Chuck had won.
