‘Crimes of the Future’: trailer and poster released for David Cronenberg’s latest

A trailer and poster have been released for David Cronenberg’s upcoming film ‘Crimes of the Future’.

Released by Vertigo in UK and Irish cinemas on 9th September 2022, the film has already played at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.

‘Crimes of the Future’ stars Viggo Mortensen, Léa Seydoux and Kristen Stewart. It sees writer and director David Cronenberg (‘Crash’) returns to his body-horror roots.

As the human species adapts to a synthetic environment, the body undergoes new transformations and mutations. With his partner Caprice (Léa Seydoux), Saul Tenser (Viggo Mortensen), celebrity performance artist, publicly showcases the metamorphosis of his organs in avant-garde performances.

Timlin (Kristen Stewart), an investigator from the National Organ Registry, obsessively tracks their movements, which is when a mysterious group is revealed… Their mission – to use Saul’s notoriety to shed light on the next phase of human evolution
