7. ‘Anything But Down’
The third single from Crow’s breath-taking third album ‘The Globe Sessions’, ‘Anything But Down’ is a moody mid-tempo number in a similar vein to ‘If It Makes You Happy’. Crow’s vocals soar on the rocky chorus as she tells a lover how he makes her feel in the bluntest of ways. It deserved to be a bigger hit than it was.
