Rumoured to be about Eric Clapton, ‘My Favorite Mistake’ moved Crow on from the angsty ‘Sheryl Crow’ era and launched 1998 album ‘The Globe Sessions’. Stripping things back and sounding more organic than its predecessor, ‘The Globe Sessions’ is Crow’s most iconic album and ‘My Favorite Mistake’ is a bluesy rock jam paying homage to a short-lived relationship that was fun while it lasted.
