13. ‘The Last Rite’
Another from the ‘First Blood’ strand, ‘The Last Rite’ is a British tale of possession from director Leroy Kincaide. This one caught me completely by surprise thanks to its strong script, direction and a cracking lead performance by Bethan Waller. Exorcism movies may be plentiful but few are as stylish and well-made as this one.
