9. Will Hastings be forced into retirement?
It seems the top brass have tried to control Hastings by warning him off his investigations. Earlier this season Andrea Wise (Elizabeth Rider) told him it was time he stopped pursuing his investigation into H. PCC Rohan Sindwhani (Ace Bhatti) seemed to be pulling the strings but was later revealed to be fighting in AC-12’s corner before he was pushed out.
At this point it doesn’t look good for Hastings and he’s fast running out of time. If AC-12 are able to prove that police corruption goes right to the top then maybe we’ll get to see Hastings stick around for a bit longer. Fingers crossed.
