Raise a glass to the recently-departed British character actor Geoffrey Palmer, who made the first of his two Doctor Who appearances in this one. Sadly, he died this year. This Jon Pertwee story features a plot whereby a deadly virus breaks out. The Third Doctor faces a race against time to come up with a vaccine and halt the spread. OK, so that storyline may be a little close to home for some, but it’s certainly topical for the year Covid cancelled Christmas.
