Rising star Claye has released new track Forever, taken from his forthcoming album due this autumn.
The track arrives as Claye has amassed more than 1 million streams for his recent solo tracks including Murda. Claye wrote, produced and performed Forever entirely by himself.
Take a listen:
Forever combines Claye’s smooth vocal delivery with his reggae roots, modernist pop and sun-kissed island grooves.
Claye was born and raised in Kingston but is now based in the UK. He’s a classically trained pianist and he taught himself to play guitar and drums.
His big break came when he signed a publishing deal with Roc Nation and he co-wrote Sean Paul’s Hold My Hand, which featured Timbaland’s protégé Keri Hilson. He’s also worked with Chip, Aloe Blacc, Beenie Man, Vybz Kartel, Ky-Mani Marley, Busy Signal and Michael Patrick Kelly.
Forever’ and his recent track Murda will both which feature on Claye’s new album that will follow later in the year.
