The latest episode of Billions, saw Chuck (Paul Giamatti) begin work in a new position while Axe (Damian Lewis) was surprised by a visitor from his past.

After Chuck publicly outed their sex life, Wendy (Maggie Siff) was struggling with the idea that everyone knew personal information about her. She spent the episode trying to find out what people were saying. At a meal with Chuck, Axe (Damian Lewis) and Rebecca (Nina Arianda) she found a new friend in Rebecca who told her people would soon go back to their own problems instead of discussing hers.
At Taylor Mason Capital, Taylor (Asia Kate Dillion) was panicking about losing the money from Andolov (John Malkovich). They came up with a plan to pitch for the firefighters’ fund and with the help of new hire Lauren Turner (Jade Eshete) they secured the funding.
Axe had a surprise visit from John Rice (Seth Gabel), the son of a friend who died in 9/11. He insulted Axe by returning his money that he invested. Axe took him fishing to find out the truth and had employees at Axe Capital completely ruin his company by spreading rumours and bleeding him dry.
On Chuck’s first day as Attorney General he found that Jeffcoat (Clancy Brown) had pressured Governor Sweeny (Matt Servito) to pull his powers by threatening to cut his funding. Chuck fought back and got corrupt members of the State Assembly to support him. He then made his move and had them all arrested at the funeral of Black Jack Foley (David Strathairn).
The episode ended with Connerty (Toby Leonard Moore) and Sacker (Condola Rashad) working on a way to take Chuck down.
