Wyatt (Dan MacPherson) survived being shot by Pavel and wanted to go after him. He was ordered to rest by Coltrane (Jamie Bamber). They had intel on a Russian man who Pavel trained with and he had recently been trying to defect. The problem was he was in Russia. Coltrane was denied permission from Whitehall so decided to take the team rogue.
He went with Novin (Alin Sumarwata) and Mac (Warren Brown) to try and extract the Russian. They got to him and managed to get some intel about Kingfisher being a project, Pavel being in charge of running it and the name of a terrorist called Hassan who was skilled in boming.
This led them to Indonesia where Pavel and Zarkova were trying to raise the money to bring Hassan on board. After being denied funds by the Russians they robbed a jewellery store before meeting with Hassan.
Section 20 arrived and led an assault but Hassan got away. Wyatt and Pavel went head-to-head while Zarkova tried not to kill any of 20. The local military arrived and arrested them. Novin realised they were to be executed but they were saved by Coltrane.
Meanwhile, Chetri (Varada Sethu) went after Hassan solo and tracked him and the suitcase nuke to a shopping mall. She was about to take a shot at him when she was grabbed from behind.
In the eighth episode, with Indonesia teetering on the brink of a bloody coup, Section 20 need to protect a military General from his own soldiers, while Novin and Wyatt find themselves trapped in a deserted mall, with a terrorist and a suitcase nuke.
