Nick’s (Matthew McNulty) life hung in the balance on the latest episode of The Bay.

If you don’t want any spoilers for The Bay, stop reading this article now.

After being dumped outside a hospital barely conscious by Sean (Jonas Armstrong), Nick fought for his life in hospital. Thankfully he pulled through but he still wasn’t willing to talk to Lisa (Morven Christie) about what he knew.

With help from Nick’s mother Sue (Hazel Ellerby), Lisa was able to find a new location for the police to search when Nick started singing a song that linked back to a summer camp he used to attend. Lisa led a search team and in the depths of the abandoned camp, she found a scared and shocked Holly (Darci Shaw) being held in a locked room on a dirty mattress.

Elsewhere the case against Ryan (Philip Hill-Pearson) started to stack up when a lot of money was found hidden in his bedroom along with a pair of blood-spattered jeans. He denied giving any money to Holly but no one was convinced that he didn’t know more than he was letting on.
