At the start of the episode the team acted on some intel with Inspector Amy Leong (Ann Truong) and the police. The raided a warehouse at the docks but the nuke had already been moved. The Inspector suspended Section 20 from further operations and put the city on lockdown.

Section 20 formed an alliance with Zarkova and she shared classified Russian intelligence. It suggested that High Commissioner McKitterick (Adrian Edmondson) was in league with the Triads. Coltrane (Jamie Bamber) confronted him and tried to help but he refused for fear of his family’s safety.

McKitterick went to meet the Triads and was tailed by Novin (Alin Sumarwata), Wyatt (Dan MacPherson) and Zarkova. They needed to wait for permission before they could act but Zarkova had other ideas and decided to go straight for the High Commissioner. It was a bad idea and she had to surrender to Laoshu (Tom Wu).

Laoshu requested diplomatic clearance from McKitterick for the vehicle carrying the nuke. He agreed to keep his family safe. Wyatt and Novin led an assault to extract McKitterick and Zarkova but Laoshu escaped. They wanted McKitterick to revoke his clearance but he killed himself.

They tracked the nuke down but were too late to stop it being moved by helicopter. Fortunately Zarkova managed to place a tracker on it to give them its next location.

Novin followed Laoshu home and the confronted him. A fight broke out and he disarmed her. Laoshu didn’t hold back and gave Novin a serious beating. While trying to drown her she managed to stabbed him, get free and kill him.

At the end of the episode, Coltrane offered Zarkova a deal to gain access to her intel on the nuke and she agreed. Novin was expecting to be dismissed for going after Laoshu but Coltrane let it go. Zarkova checked in with her superior and said she hadn’t defected and was using Section 20.

In the third episode, Section 20, alongside rogue Russian operative Katrina Zarkova, race to try and locate the stolen nuclear missile, tracking it down to Goa, India. It’s a trail that leads them through explosive street festivals, kidnapped nuclear scientists, and vengeful politicians.
