The sixth episode of Ray Donovan season 6 saw Mickey (Jon Voight) go ahead with his robbery.

If you’re not up to date with Ray Donovan and like to avoid spoilers we suggest you don’t read any further.

The mayor went after Winslow (Susan Sarandon), having a man break into her apartment and threaten her, so Ray (Liev Schreiber) went and gave him a warning. He had Lena (Katherine Moennig) stay with Winslow while he worked out who had broken in. He discovered that the cops were in with the mayor which create a huge problem.

Terry (Eddie Marsan) had Bridget (Kerris Dorsey) watch Maria so he could go and fight again. He messed with his brain implant to boost his performance and won. It opened up an opportunity to fight in an 8-man Eliminator which he turned down initially. However, the $50,000 prize money was too tempting so he changed his mind.

Elsewhere, Internal Affairs put more pressure on Mac (Domenick Lombardozzi). Ray asked him for a favour to get some CCTV footage but found out that Mac lied to him by saying it didn’t exist.

Mickey and Bunchy (Dash Mihok) tried to rob a bus of rich people but it went badly and they got away with almost nothing. Instead they robbed a pawn shop and made off with a pile of cash.

Things got worse for Bunchy when Bridget called Teresa (Alyssa Diaz). She came and picked Maria up and took her away after a fight with Bunchy.

At the end of the episode, Ray found himself arrested and he was taken away in the back of a cop car.
