Scandal crossed over with How to Get Away With Murder on the latest episodes of each show.
Olivia (Kerry Washington) was approached by Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) for her with her class action suit. After appealing to Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) and Mellie (Bellamy Young) for help, Olivia and Annalise realised they would have to take the case forward on their own.
Quinn (Katie Lowes) put her hatred of Olivia to one side to help them persuade a judge to vote in their favour, which enabled the class action to go to the Supreme Court. On the day of the hearing Annalise panicked after hearing that Isaac (Jimmy Smits) had tried to commit suicide.

Olivia talked her around and Annalise, with the help of Michaela (Aja Naomi King) and Marcus (Cornelius Smith Jr) managed to use one of the judge’s own words against them to push her case forward. The response from the Supreme Court was delayed but the signs looked positive that Olivia and Annalise would win.
Meanwhile Michaela cheated on Asher (Matt McGorry) with Marcus and her friends called her out on it.
The next episode of the season is Air Force Two. Cyrus and David’s plane is hacked on their way to the digital piracy summit, leaving their friends on the ground little time to save them.
