Billions returns to UK screens later this month for a second series. The season two premiere of the Showtime drama will air on Sky Atlantic on February 21st just 2 days behind the U.S.
The first season of the show followed the battle between hedge fund king Bobby “Axe” Axelrod (Damien Lewis) and U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti) who was trying to take him down. If you haven’t seen it yet there is plenty of time to binge watch the gripping first season before season two begins.
Season two picks up straight after the season one finale. It’s once again law versus money as Axe seeks revenge and vows to destroy Chuck.
Season two sees Maggie Siff, Malin Akerman, Toby Leonard Moore, David Costabile and Condola Rashad all return to reprise their roles.

Chuck faces scrutiny within his office and from the Attorney General. Axe refortifies Axe Capital, and weighs his options for retaliation. The fund wrestles with a precarious economic landscape that threatens the very existence of Axe Cap. Wendy entertains an offer from a rival hedge fund manager. Lara intervenes in an emergency at her children’s school.
