Wyatt (Matt Lanter) faced his last mission on the latest episode of Timeless, after being told that he was being replaced on the team.
Along with Lucy (Abigail Spencer) and Rufus (Malcolm Barrett), Wyatt travelled back to 2nd March 1836 to stop Flynn (Goran Višnjić) from messing with the Battle of the Alamo. As Flynn worked hard to change history and make the battle happen early, the team had to sort out the mess he created when he killed William B. Travis (David Chisum) preventing him from writing his historic ‘Victory or Death’ letter.
Lucy completed William’s letter while Wyatt and Rufus created an underground passageway for the women and children to escape through before the battle took place. Wyatt suffered from PTSD and wanted to stay to fight the battle but Lucy convinced him to stick with the team.
When they returned from their mission, Lucy and Rufus refused to continue without Wyatt as part of the team. Agent Christopher (Sakina Jaffrey) agreed and revealed that Lucy’s letter kept the timeline intact.
In the present day Lucy reconciled with her mother and find out the truth about her father.
The next episode of the season is The Watergate Tape. The team travel back to 1972 – landing in Nixon-era Washington, DC – where they must embark on an investigation that rattles them to the core.
