The latest episode of Blindspot began with Jane (Jaimie Alexander) dreaming of an impossible fight against a long-haired version of herself.
Back at the FBI the entire computer system was hacked by Rich Dotcom (Ennis Esmer) who escaped last season. He did so to get their attention so that they would arrest him. He felt it was the only place he would be safe from a legendary assassin known as the Arcadian.
The assassin soon came for him and killed multiple agents who were guarding him. Rich managed to escape holding via the ventilation system and found his way back to Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and the team. The Arcadian managed to build a chemical bomb but Weller and Patterson (Ashley Johnson) disabled it.
Zapata (Audrey Esparza) and Reade (Rob Brown) were arguing about the Coach Jones case when they found themselves up up against the Arcadian. He overpowered them and kidnapped an unconscious Zapata who he later injected with a deadly neurotoxin.
He offered a trade of the antidote for Rich Dotcom. Meanwhile Weller and Rich set a trap using a camera loop. When the Arcadian came, Jane had flashbacks to her fight dream which helped her fight and Weller killed him.
With the Arcadian dead things looked bad for Zapata. However she was able to communicate which was the real antidote via morse code. The antidote worked and saved her life.
Rick Dotcom managed to escape again but Weller and the team were ready for the attempt. He was taken back to prison.
At the end of the episode Roman (Luke Mitchell) received a communication explaining that Jane was siding with the FBI.
