On the latest episode of Blindspot, a killer infiltrated the FBI offices in search of revenge.

The episode opened up with a chap on the phone to his mother. After he hung up he was attacked by a large man (Keith Jardine) who choked him to death and stole his security pass for Blue Annex Technologies.
Meanwhile the FBI team are having a dinner party at Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and Jane’s (Jaimie Alexander) apartment. Weller’s daughter Bethany was also in attendance and she was playing games with Patterson (Ashley Johnson). Rich (Ennis Esmer) decided to order them fancy food rather than the planned pizza.
As usual things didn’t go to plan when a call came in from the office. Terrorist Shohid Akhtar (Ajay Naidu), who they previously put in prison, said he had information and needed to talk to them. Party over, they went to see what he had to say and listened to a story about terrorists who had missiles to sell and an impending attack on New York. In return for the information, Akhtar wanted a guarantee of witness protection. Weller said they needed proper evidence first and took him for questioning.
They decided to also attempt to hack into a laptop that Akhtar was first arrested with. However, the situation was made more difficult than usual thanks to a complete tech revamp of their offices by Blue Annex Technologies. Patterson confronted one of the workers when she spotted he was carrying the wrong cables. Unknown to her, it was the killer who stole the security pass at the top of the episode.
Reade (Rob Brown) pulled in Briana (Amy Margaret Wilson) to help Rich and Patterson with the laptop. Before she joined them she took a call from Dominic Masters (Chaske Spencer) who wanted her help. He gave her time to think about it but threatened her family if she didn’t. Briana got stuck in and was instrumental in accessing Akhtar’s laptop. Sadly the fake Blue Annex Technologies employee killed the guy in charge and put the entire system offline.
Weller tried again with Akhtar and tricked him into revealing he’d been telling lies. This new information pointed Briana at some files on his laptop. They revealed the identity of the fake employee as Pavel Makarov and Patterson realised that he was in the building and out for revenge for the deaths of his family. He wanted to kill Colonel Meeks who was responsible for ordering the strike. Akhtar had the information he needed and agreed to tell him if he helped him escape. The team were sent to guard the Meeks family and were able to keep them safe and stop Pavel.
Elsewhere in the episode, Rich teased Patterson about her plans to adopt a child. He joked they could raise the child together and later filled in the application for her. Reade was supposed to be going on a date, which didn’t bother Zapata (Audrey Esparza) at all (honest). He eventually cancelled it because he really still has feelings for Zapata.
At the end of the episode Brianna broke into Weller and Jane’s apartment and stole something from their safe for Masters.
