The Tunnel returns to UK screens tomorrow night (April 12th) for a second season titled Sabotage. Previous known as The Tunnel 2: Debris, Sabotage will reunite the Anglo-French detectives DCI Karl Roebuck (Stephen Dillane) and Elise Wassermann (Clémence Poésy) who has now been promoted to Commander.
The pair are faced with two separate incidents. The first involves the abduction of a couple from the Channel Tunnel, leaving behind their young daughter. The second is a plane that crashes into the Channel, killing all the British and French passengers.

Angel Coulby will be reprising her role as Karl’s wife, Laura Roebuck. Joining the cast for the new season are Emilia Fox (Silent Witness) and Clarke Peters (The Wire).
The first season of The Tunnel was essentially a remake of Scandinavian drama The Bridge but the second season tells its own story. It was due to air last week but was postponed as a mark of respect to the victims of the recent Brussels terror attacks.
Tune in to Sky Atlantic at 9pm Tuesday 12th April to see the first episode. The Tunnel: Sabotage will also be available to binge watch via Sky Box Sets.
