Tyrant season 1 episode 4 Sins of the Father preview

Barry (Adam Rayner) got dragged deeper into his brother Jamal’s (Ashraf Barhom) mess in the latest episode of Tyrant.

After deciding to stay in the Middle East to help his brother, Barry asked his family to return home promising to join them in the future at some point once things had settled down. Jamal appointed Barry into his inner circle as an adviser but Barry soon started to learn that his brother wasn’t quite the man he thought he was.

Desperate to make a statement following his assassination attempt, Jamal pin-pointed Hamid Mahfouz (Sammy Sheik) as the person responsible and despite being proven innocent he decided to publicly hang him anyway. Nice! Barry managed to pursuade his brother to do some good and got him to agree to release some of the men their father had wrongfully locked up.

Elsewhere Barry realised that he needed his family to stay in the Middle East with him and Sammy (Noah Silver) grew ever closer to Abdul (Mehdi Dehbi) with the two acting on their feelings for one another.

The next episode of the season is Sins of the Father. Tensions boil as the 20th anniversary of the chemical attack ordered by Barry’s father, President Khaled Al-Fayeed, looms. Barry’s plan to defuse the situation runs into heavy resistance.
