The second season comes to an end this week.

Ray Donovan season 2 episode 12

Ray Donovan concludes its second season with next episode The Captain.

The penultimate episode of the season, which aired last week, was a little bit of a game changer with Ray (Liev Schreiber) being arrested after attacking Mickey (Jon Voight). The fixer lost his cool when Mickey’s latest venture endangered the life of his son Conor (Devon Bagby) and was hauled away by the police.

Prior to that Mickey roped Terry (Eddie Marsan) into a heist which went wrong when his parole officer Wendell (Wendell Pierce) called the police on them after learning that the safe they were stealing was empty. Mickey managed to get away but Terry was left locked in the building. Upon returning to his bedsit Mickey witnessed an explosion which claimed the life of his neighbour and left Conor with a broken arm.

Abby (Paula Malcomson) was left frustrated when Jim (Brian Geraghty) failed to go through with his promise of ensuring Cookie (Omar Dorsey) couldn’t get near Bridget (Kerris Dorsey).

Elsewhere Cochran (Hank Azaria) felt the net closing in on him following Volcheck’s (Kip Pardue) suicide

The season finale is The Captain. Season two concludes as Mickey heads to the races on a money-making scheme and Abby is torn between Ray and Jim.
