A brand new one-sheet poster has debuted for new horror movie The Conjuring.
Saw Director James Wan’s The Conjuring is a horror film based on a haunting in New England. The claim by many horror films that it is ‘based on true events’ usually deserves scepticism, but the story behind Wan’s new project is famous among paranormal enthusiasts and the events are often likened to the ‘real’ Amityville horror.
The new horror flick stars Patrick Wilson (Insidious, Hard Candy) and Vera Farmiga (The Departed, Source Code) as famed paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. Whether you’re superstitious or not, the film is based on events recently written about by a daughter of the Perron family, who experienced the haunting, along with accounts from the real life Ed and Lorraine Warren’s documentation of the haunting in Harrisville.
