Canadian singer-songwriter Tara MacLean has released her new EP, ‘Live in My Hometown'.
The EP was record in October 2023 at the prestigious Confederation Centre of the Arts in Prince Edward Island. It captures MacLean's mesmerising abilities as a live performer and showcases her deeply personal lyrics and stellar vocals.
‘Live in My Hometown' follows the release of MacLean's seventh studio album ‘Sparrow‘, which was released in March 2023 alongside her best-selling memoir ‘Song of the Sparrow‘.
“This is my first live release since Live at the Roots Lodge 25 years ago!” MacLean shares. “There was a palpable connection across the stage and audience that evening, that was beyond any previous live experiences in two decades of touring. I’m buzzing to now share it with a wider audience”.
Recently, MacLean was honoured with the Single of the Year award at the PEI Music Awards for her song ‘Sparrow', as well as receiving multiple nominations, including Album of the Year and Video of the Year. She also garnered three nominations at the East Coast Music Awards, including Innovator of the Year and Song of the Year for ‘Sparrow'.
