‘Living With Chucky’, a documentary from Kyra Elise Gardner, will be released in the UK on digital and Blu-ray on 24th April 2023 by Lightbulb Film Distribution.
Gardner is the daughter of iconic special effects artist Tony Gardner. In her documentary, she takes an in-depth look at the iconic horror franchise and speaks to creator Don Mancini, the voice of Chuck Brad Dourif and cast members including Jennifer Tilly and John Waters.
“Having grown up as fans of the Child’s Play franchise, we were keen to bring this feature-length documentary to UK & Ireland audiences. Kyra has done a wonderful job – revealing the years of sweat, tears, and buckets of blood that have gone into making Chucky one of the biggest names in the slasher genre.” commented Lightbulb’s Commercial Director, Matthew Kreuzer.
The documentary had its world premiere at Popcorn Frights and it played at FrightFest last year.
Included within the Blu-ray, there will be a number of special features and additional bonus content. ‘Living With Chucky’ will be available to own or rent in the UK & Ireland from April 24 via AppleTV, Sky Store, Virgin Media and Google Play. It is also available for pre-order on Blu-ray.
