S Club 7 are back to mark 25 years since the group catapulted onto the charts with debut hit ‘Bring It All Back’, their first number one.
Jo, Rachel, Hannah, Tina, Paul, Bradley and Jon captured the imagination of kids all over the world with their sunny brand of pop, masterminded by the Spice Girls svengali Simon Fuller. Over the course of five years, the pop phenomenon dropped hits like they were going out of fashion as well as conquered TV and film.

5Bring It All Back
It’s the song that started it all! Released in 1999 ‘Bring It All Back’ introduced the pop group to a global audience and it shot straight to number one in the UK. A pure injection of pop optimism accompanied by a sun-drenched video, ‘Bring It All Back’ is the only S Club 7 single to feature all four female members sharing the lead vocals. Cheesy? Of course but catchy? Damn right!
4S Club Party
Taking a leaf from the Spice Girls’ ‘Wannabe’, ‘S Club Party’ served to introduce each of the group’s members in a bid to connect the audience with them. While they didn’t end up with Spice-like nicknames, everyone can remember the bit of this song where they whizz through the members can’t they? More mature than ‘Bring It All Back’ and edgier, the song peaked at number 2 in the UK.
3Don’t Stop Movin’
The lead single from third album ‘Sunshine’, “Don’t Stop Movin'” took the group, and its fans, to the dancefloor. If this isn’t a certified pop banger, we don’t know what is. Still as funky and fresh today as it was back in 2001, this pop favourite has stood the test of time. It was also the band’s third number one single.
2Never Had a Dream Come True
Released as the official ‘Children in Need’ single for 2000, ‘Never Had a Dream Come True’ is the band’s best ballad (by a mile). Jo O’Meara takes on lead vocals with the other six members providing back-up. The song became the band’s second UK number one single and it was the final single from their second album ‘7’. Anyone else feel like it’s Christmas when they hear this one?
1Reach
How could the number 1 song be anything other than 2000’s ‘Reach’. The lead single from ‘7’, how on earth did the song not hit number one? Seriously, it deserved much better than number 2. Sunny, carefree and inspiring for its (at the time) young listeners, ‘Reach’ is one of those rare pop songs that transcended generations and brought a smile to the face of anyone who heard it. Pop gold.
