Laci Kaye Booth is set to continue her striking run of new music with the release of her latest single ‘Pathetic’, arriving today via Lost Highway. The track follows the buzz of her recent release ‘Ethereal Redneck Shit’ and offers another glimpse into her forthcoming album ‘Love Ain’t For The Faint Of Heart,' due September 18.
With ‘Pathetic’, Booth leans fully into vulnerability, delivering one of her most emotionally exposed performances to date. The track explores the quiet, often uncomfortable moments of self-reflection: the kind that surface late at night when doubt, faith and heartbreak collide.
“‘Pathetic’ represents my most vulnerable moments,” Booth explains. “It’s who I am in the middle of the night when I’m questioning my faith and admitting that I let myself bleed when life and love cut me because I like the proof that it leaves.”
The song continues to build the emotional and sonic world of ‘Love Ain’t For The Faint Of Heart,' a project that looks set to showcase Booth at her most honest and unfiltered. Across recent releases, she has balanced sharp, genre-blurring storytelling with deeply personal themes, carving out a distinctive space that blends country, Americana and alternative influences.
The album is available to pre-save and pre-order now via her official channels.
Momentum continues to grow around Booth, who has been named one of Spotify’s Artists to Watch for 2026 as well as a CMT Next Women of Country. She will also take her new music on the road this summer, joining Ella Langley for select tour dates beginning July 23, including a two-night run at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre in October.
With ‘Pathetic’, Laci Kaye Booth isn’t just previewing a new album: she’s opening the door to her most intimate chapter yet.
