1. Casey Becker (‘Scream’)
The opening of ‘Scream’ remains one of the best from any horror movie ever made. Casting Drew Barrymore, who was the film’s biggest name, and offing her before the credits was a bold move and one that made sure people couldn’t stop talking about ‘Scream’. Casey Becker was the second Ghostface victim (her boyfriend Steve was murdered before she was) but she’s by far the most memorable. The perfect blend of Kevin Williamson’s post-modern horror trivia and plenty of jump scares.
