Casting Sarah Michelle Gellar as a defenceless sorority girl caught fans off-guard as at the time of the film’s release, Gellar was known as the kick-ass Buffy Summers, in the hugely successful ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ TV series. ‘Scream 2’ moved the action to a university campus and CiCi was the unfortunate victim of Ghostface while on her own watching TV. The sequence is one of the most thrilling in the series and Gellar was brilliant.
