This year marks the 12th anniversary of the release of Adam Lambert’s debut album ‘For Your Entertainment’, which arrived in 2009 only months after the singer came second on season 8 of ‘American Idol’.

2. ‘Shady’ featuring Nile Rodgers & Sam Sparro
This underrated gem from ‘Trespassing’ was a little ahead of its time and saw Lambert teaming up with legend Nile Rodgers and pop star Sam Sparro. The funky groove was written by Lambert, Sparro and Lester Mendez, and it never fails to get me bopping along. How was this not a huge worldwide smash? Missed opportunity I think.
