Cody Johnson has released new single ‘Horseback', the latest teaser for his upcoming album ‘Banks of the Trinity'.
Written by Randy Montana, Wyatt McCubbin, and Paul Sikes and produced by Trent Willmon, the single will premiere at country radio on Monday 15th June. ‘Horseback' is available across all digital platforms and Johnson will perform the song on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' on 24th June.
This is the debut single off Johnson’s forthcoming 16-song album, ‘Banks Of The Trinity', set for release on June 26, 2026. The album features collaborations with Luke Combs and Brothers Osborne. ‘Horseback' follows Johnson’s recent #1 song ‘The Fall', which peaked at radio the same week he took home the coveted Entertainer of the Year and Male Artist of the Year honours at the 61st annual ACM Awards, held in Las Vegas on 17th May.
Johnson recently performed at the Nissan Stadium for CMA Fest in Nashville, where he delivered a hits-packed 30-minute set that included a surprise appearance from Brothers Osborne for ‘Fool Proof'. He brought his set to an end with his signature hit “Til You Can't”.
