Adam Lambert has released his naughty new revenge anthem ‘CVNTY', taken from his new EP ‘AFTERS', which arrives on 19th July 2024 via The Orchard.
The song marks the first time that the star has produced his own vocals. ‘CVNTY' is an empowering track about owning your power and leaving a lasting impression. Take a listen to the track below:
Of the song, Lambert says: “The songs on ‘AFTERS' are all about desire and connection, but what about when things don’t work out and a lover messes up? ‘CVNTY' recalls running into an ex at a party and feeling empowered enough to tell them they lost their chance, and feeling like you look damn good as you do!”
Lambert performed ‘CVNTY' for the first time at WeHo Pride Presents Friday Night at OUTLOUD. He also performed the recently released songs ‘WET DREAM' and ‘LUBE', both of which feature on ‘AFTERS' and are available to stream now.
An exploration of sexuality and liberation, ‘AFTERS' captures the essence of modern queer culture with pulsating beats and sultry lyrics.
Of his inspirations for the EP, Adam shared, “Creating ‘AFTERS' has been such a liberating experience as I chose to craft an EP of house music that’s unapologetically queer and sex positive. I throw many house parties and my aim was to create a soundtrack inspired by wild nights, giving a voice to our communities’ hedonistic desires and exploits. Feeling more confident than ever, I wanted to get shamelessly raw and real with the listener. ‘AFTERS' is meant to make you move, sweat, fantasise and connect!”
With a career marked by groundbreaking performances and an unwavering dedication to LGBTQ+ advocacy, Lambert continues to push the boundaries of what it means to be a queer artist in today's music industry.
