5. The Stylist
Hair stylist Jill Gevargizian turned her 2016 short into a feature film with star Najarra Townsend reprising her lead role. With an opening scene you won’t forget in a hurry, ‘The Stylist’ makes you feel sympathy for anxiety ridden stylist/killer Claire and the finale will leave you with your jaw on the floor. Gorgeously shot and strikingly directed, this one’s a real treat.
