6. Held
Jill Awbrey stars in and wrote the screenplay for ‘Held’ and she did an incredible job on both fronts. Portraying one half of a married couple whose marriage is sinking, Awbrey puts them in a high-tech house where they become hostages at the mercy of a mystery voice. Directors Travis Cluff and Chris Lofing add to the claustrophobic feel of the film and the story goes places you won’t expect.
