Premiere: Michelle Vezilj debuts I Cannot Love You Anymore video

Canadian singer-songwriter Michelle Vezilj will release her new single I Cannot Love You Anymore on Friday (18th October) and we’ve got the exclusive premiere of the music video.

The music video was created by Michelle Vezilj and directed and edited by Micah Stuart who most recently won the Golden Trailer Award for his editing work on the Bohemian Rhapsody trailer. It was executive produced by award-winning filmmaker, Sonja O’Hara (Root Letter, Doomsday) and stars Michelle Vezilj (Sargasso), Sonja O’Hara (Doomsday), and Lucio Nieto.

Watch the video below:

“I Cannot Love You Anymore is about the demise of a relationship as drugs, alcohol, and cheating take hold of what was once a love worth fighting for,” says Vezilj. “It is about finally choosing yourself, standing up, and walking away, even if it kills you to do so.”

The song was produced by Wayne G. Miller, who has worked with music’s biggest names including Christina Perri, Demi Lovato, and most recently, AJ Mitchell, with music and lyrics by Michelle Vezilj and music by Eric Dash.

I Cannot Love You Anymore also features legendary Lucy Walsh on piano and vocals who has toured internationally with her music, most recently with Maroon 5, One Republic, and Bruno Mars.

Michelle is writing an original song for the feature film Summer Gold, directed by Caroline Zelder, with cinematography by Academy Award winner, Dean Semler (Dances with Wolves) as well as for the feature film, Lucky, directed by Natasha Kermani (Imitation Girl) and produced by Epic Pictures (The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot).

I Cannot Love You Anymore is the follow-up to Michelle’s #MeToo-inspired single Fire Goes to Die.

You can catch Michelle onstage at the Troubadour in January. For tickets to the Troubadour, please visit https://www.ticketfly.com/event/1888675-sound-collective-showcase-los-angeles/.
