Fellow Rick and Morty fans, I’m sure you’ve all been feeling the absence of Rick and Morty in your lives since the last season finished in 2017. Thankfully it looks like we won’t have to wait too much longer to get our fix as the longest clip of the upcoming series has recently been shown at San Diego Comic-Con. It’s not a full trailer but it’s nice to see a bit more of what is to come.
The clip stars Taika Waititi (Director: Thor Ragnorak) as he plays the role of a smart arse alien intern.
You can view the clip below:
“I think it’s safe to say without fear of being wrong that the gap between seasons three and four will be the longest, and last time that it’s ever so long that it’s ridiculous,” Harmon told Entertainment Weekly. “I don’t know how fast we can do it, but I know it will never be this long again.”
During Comic-Con a few tasty morsels were let slip including the possibility of a time travel storyline plus the return of Mr. Meeseeks.
Paul Giamatti, and Kathleen Turner will also be making voice appearances on the show.
Rick and Morty season 4 will be 10 episodes long and should air sometime towards the end of 2019
