Fresh from their interesting weekend outing to Palm Springs during episode 5, Uly (Avan Jogia), Carly (Kelli Berglund), Ford (Beau Mirchoff) and Severine (Roxane Mesquida) returned to their normal lives during episode 6 of Now Apocalypse.

Uly told Carly about his bathroom escapades with Leesha (Cleopatra Coleman) but maintained that he is mostly attracted to men. Carly admitted that she understood as she identifies as 99% straight but occasionally likes to sleep with women. She also told Uly that she had given her cell number to one of her cam clients.
While the two were chatting Jethro (Desmond Chiam) called Carly to check she was watching the latest show he was guest starring as a corpse in. She lied pretending that she was watching it and although she got most of the details wrong, Jethro still believed her.
Uly continued to be plagued by strange dreams and he posted on the alien message board to find out what his dreams meant. Later in the episode he discovered his post had been removed due to violating the forum’s policies.
He agreed to help Carly with her new web series Sluts but despaired at the dire actors she got involved in the project. Things became even more uncomfortable when Carly tried to recreate a sex scene with Jethro that we saw in an earlier episode and Jethro started giving her notes saying his lines didn’t feel authentic.
Following the shoot Carly got a call from her agent who dropped her from the roster. She then had to put up with one of her lesser talented actor friends boasting about getting a big break, which was swiftly upstaged by Jethro.
Frustrated with life, Carly turned to her box of vibrators but she had no luck there as the batteries were all dead. In desperation she texted Jethro summoning him over. Once he arrived she took on the role of a strict mother and spanked him, before asking him to eat her out.
As the two were getting down to it, Carly’s new room-mate walked in on them. She retreated to her bedroom and rocked back and forth as she heard what was going on.
Meanwhile Uly was called into work to cover someone’s shift and while speaking to Carly on the phone he saw the homeless man from his dream. He gave chase and jumped over a fence but seemingly fell flat on his face.
Ford spent much of the episode moping over the way Severine was treating him. He received the photos from his photoshoot with Otto (Devan Chandler Long) but Severine wasn’t interested as she had to rush off to work.
He later spoke to Uly about Severine and showed him the photos. Realising his friend was being exploited, Uly tried to tell Ford what he caught Barnabus (Kevin Daniels) doing to him during their time in Palm Springs. Ford reacted angrily accusing Uly of being jealous because he was getting somewhere and Uly wasn’t.
After her day at work, Severine returned home and saw her hunky neighbour getting it on with a woman. She watched through the blinds and when he noticed her, he pushed the woman he was having sex with up against a window. Severine masturbated while watching them having sex.
