Thief Pamela Ferrer (Jessica Meraz) was infected with a snake-like alien parasite known as Menagerie on the latest episode of Supergirl.

Kara (Melissa Benoist) and Nia (Nicole Maines) found themselves up against the Children of Liberty when they went after Pamela. Ben Lockwood (Sam Witwer) convinced his son to lead the Children of Liberty and they seemingly killed the parasite inhabiting Pamela.

When Pamela was arrested and put in prison though, it was revealed that the parasite is still very much alive. She also got a message from Manchester Black (David Ajala).

Meanwhile Brainy (Jesse Rath) tried to get Nia to train with him but she refused. She did eventually join the superhero team though and she asked Brainy out on a date.

Elsewhere Kara realised she had to distance herself from Alex (Chyler Leigh) when she was Supergirl and she saw how much Alex had given up to protect her secret identity.

The next episode of the season is What’s So Funny About Truth, Justice, and the American Way? When a new team helps Manchester Black to break out of prison, Supergirl sets out to apprehend them. Meanwhile, a shocking new development regarding Ben Lockwood is revealed.

Supergirl continues at 8pm Monday on Sky One HD. Preview it with our gallery below:
