Daryl (Norman Reedus) tried to prevent Alpha from getting her daughter back to prevent her suffering more abuse. However, he had no choice but to return her after Alpha revealed that she had captured Alden (Callan McAuliffe) and Luke (Dan Fogler). She offered no conflict and was prepared to trade the pair.
Henry (Matt Lintz) tried to escape with Lydia but was tracked down by Enid (Katelyn Nacon). She told him of the prisoner swap and Lydia agreed to go back to her mother. During the trade her mother slapped her for not using her preferred name of Alpha.
During the search for Henry and Lydia, Connie (Lauren Ridloff) rescued a baby from the Whisperers. The baby was given to Tammy and Earl to look after.
Elsewhere in the episode, The Kingdom went on a quest to find a projector bulb so that they could show films again. It was going well until Jerry (Cooper Andrews) dropped the bulb which forced them to clear the walkers from the theatre to retrieve it.
At the end of the episode, Henry left a note saying he couldn’t live with what they had done to Lydia. Daryl and Dog set out after him with Connie also tagging along.
