SAG Awards 2019: Black Panther leads this year’s winners

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel was the big winner in the TV categories.

The 25th Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards took place last night at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Celebrating achievements in Motion Pictures and Television, the night saw Black Panther continue its awards streak. The superhero film won Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture and Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture.

In the TV categories The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel scooped two awards – Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series – and Darren Criss picked up yet another award – Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries – for his role in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.
