The eighth episode of Ray Donovan season 6 saw Ray (Liev Schreiber) trying to find a way to make things right with Sam (Susan Sarandon).

If you’re not up to date with Ray Donovan and like to avoid spoilers we suggest you don’t read any further.

Ray found himself alone and facing a near impossible task of making things right with Winslow. Speaking to her didn’t help and she began taking action herself, kicking Bridget (Kerris Dorsey) off Novak’s (Lola Glaudini) campaign and having Justine murdered. Lena (Katherine Moennig) and Bridget were both upset with Ray.

Bunchy (Dash Mihok) caught up with Aunt Sandy and got his money back. He and Daryll (Pooch Hall) took her back home and Mickey (Jon Voigt) turned up. A desperate Ray also turned up and gave Bunchy a beating to steal the money.

Terry (Eddie Marsan) slept with Lauren (Lulu Brud), Abby’s niece and called her Abby while having sex. During his Eliminator fight, he took a severe beating and his Parkinson’s appears to be back. It looks like he’s going to struggle to fight again or get himself killed if he does.

At the end of the episode, Ray found himself in a psych ward after having some kind of mental episode.
