On the season four premiere of Blindspot, the FBI team hunted a surviving Sandstorm operative.

If you’re not up to date with Blindspot and like to avoid spoilers we suggest you don’t read any further.

After a heist in Tokyo to recover one of Roman’s (Luke Mitchell) data caches, Jane/Remi (Jaimie Alexander) learned that her ZIP poisoning was beginning to kill her. Meanwhile, Weller’s (Sullivan Stapleton) recovery was going well.

Remi got ahead of the FBI team to warn fellow Sandstorm member, Dolan that they were coming for him. Together they planned to rebuild Sandstorm. This led to a plan where Remi used a tattoo case to get the FBI to raid a bank so she could steal money for her cause. Dolan was tracked by the FBI and he died in a car chase.

Elsewhere, Blake (Tori Anderson) tried to takeover her father’s company, HCI. However, she and the entire board was poisoned by fellow board member Madeline Burke (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio). Burke left Zapata (Audrey Esparza) alive as she had plans for her skills.

At the end of the episode, Remi saw a hallucination of Roman who told her to find a cure and kill Weller.

The promo for the next episode reveals that Patterson (Ashley Johnson) finds a coded clue. The team are closing in on Remi who looks like she’ll stop at nothing to prevent that from happening, including poisoning Patterson!
