Timeless returns to the UK for a second season this week following the show’s last minute renewal.
Following a successful first season, the time travelling drama was cancelled by network NBC but an out cry from fans convinced them to reverse the decision. It’s been a little bit of a wait but the show is finally back on E4 on Wednesday.
In the season one finale Lucy (Abigail Spencer) found out that her mother was a member of Rittenhouse too. The revelation came after Lucy, Wyatt (Matt Lanter) and Rufus (Malcolm Barrett), along with Jiya (Claudia Doumit), jumped to Washington DC in 1954.

Flynn (Goran Višnjić) was trying to discover where the Rittenhouse summit was going to take place but it was Lucy and Wyatt that managed to find out. Lucy also found out who killed Flynn’s family and passed that information on to him.
The first episode of the new season is The War To End All Wars. Lucy travels back in time to France during World War I where she enlists scientist Marie Curie to help save a wounded soldier’s life.
