How to Get Away With Murder 4×04 Was She Ever Good at Her Job? preview

Annalise (Viola Davis) took on the case of a former gang member imprisoned for the murder of his girlfriend on the latest episode of How to Get Away With Murder.

Her client was accused of pushing his girlfriend out of a window and things took an even more difficult turn when Annalise found out that her client’s child wasn’t actually his. Bonnie (Liza Weil) and Nate (Billy Brown) turned to Oliver (Conrad Ricamora) to hack Annalise’s phone so they could get a voicemail that proved her client wasn’t the biological father of his daughter.

They used that against Annalise in court and revealed the truth in front of the man’s daughter. A furious Annalise confronted Bonnie and Nate and after receiving a tip she put the public defender on the stand and exposed her for not properly reviewing cases and missing vital evidence.

Annalise’s win led her to begin pursuing a class action suit on behalf of other people imprisoned due to the failure of the public defender’s office. She was spurred on after finding out that her former cellmate Jasmine (L. Scott Caldwell) had been found dead.

Elsewhere Michaela (Aja Naomi) participated in a contest known as the Hell Bowl at Caplan & Gold, which she won, and Laurel (Karla Souza) convinced Bonnie to let her intern at the DA’s office. Connor (Jack Falahee) decided to drop out of hiw budding law career prompting Oliver to invite his dads to town.

The next episode of the season is Was She Ever Good at Her Job? Annalise gets fired up working on her big case, while Laurel turns to an old friend to relieve some stress.
