Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) underwent surgery to remove her brain tumour on the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy.

The plucky neurosurgeon put her life in the hands of Dr. Tom Koracick (Greg Germann) and when she woke up after surgery she couldn’t speak. Her speech eventually came back but only in French and she suffered memory loss.

After days, Amelia made a full recovery and upon returning home with Owen (Kevin McKidd) the couple agreed that they needed time to get to know one another again now Amelia is free from a brain tumour.

Meanwhile Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Riggs (Martin Henderson) teamed up to bring Megan’s (Abigail Spencer) adopted son to the US, which they succeeded in doing and the signs all point to a Riggs and Megan reunion.

Elsewhere Richard (James Pickens Jr.) brought Maggie (Kelly McCreary) to an awkward family dinner where Catherine (Debbie Allen) told Jackson (Jesse Williams) about his inheritance from his grandfather. Also Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and Richard interviewed interns, Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) found out that her daughter was moving back to Seattle and Jo (Camilla Luddington) decided she wanted to divorce her abusive ex-husband.

The next episode of the season is Danger Zone. In a flashback to Iraq in 2007, the events leading up to Megan’s kidnapping are revealed.
