On the latest episode of MacGyver, Mac (Lucas Till) and the team encountered a notorious family of bounty hunters called The Coltons.

The episode opened up as usual with Mac and Jack (George Eads) in a sticky situation. This episode they were both up to their necks in quicksand. Mac explained how most people in their situation actually die from dehydration. Jack said surely Mac must have an idea of what to do. He was right, Mac started screaming for help.

Back at the Phoenix Foundation, Mac and Jack played a game of truth or dare with Bozer (Justin Hires) and Riley (Tristin Mays). Riley was just completing a dare to see if she could hang from a bar for 5 minutes. Next up was Jack and everyone wanted to know about his past with Matty (Meredith Eaton), he opted for a dare instead and had to drink a bottle of hot sauce.

Matty sent Mac and Jack off to apprehend a fugitive called Aaron Deckard. Their search led them to a bar where they met a bounty hunter called Billy Colton. He tells them he’s already captured him and that he’s tied up in his truck outside.

As he left he told his friends to make sure that Mac and Jack don’t go anywhere. Jack got to business fighting them off while Mac cobbled together a set of Nun-chucks for him.

Colton made off with Deckard but not before Mac managed to stick his phone to his truck. When they later track Colton down, they find him at a Diner which is run by his family.

It turns out that the Colton family are all bounty hunters and they pull guns on Mac and Jack. After the mother makes them try her pie, which Jack loved, she interrogated them about who they were.

They eventually got away but were tracked down and caught. They were tied up and put in a horse box. Jack had managed to swipe a mobile phone from one of the Coltons. Between them they managed to call Matty to update her but she decided to dispatch Riley, Bozer and a full team to do their job for them.

Mac smashed the phone up and filed the circuit board down to make a cutting tool They then used that to get themselves free.

The team Matty sent out managed to get Deckard back and they discovered that the Coltons were to give him to the Armenians. Without Deckard that meant they would be killed so Mac came up with a plan.

He interrupted the Armenians and told them that he worked for the Coltons. He got some time with the mother and told her that they had Deckard. Jack posed as Deckard escaping and they tricked the Armenians. Riley hacked their car to capture them.

Mac sprayed the rest of the Armenian’s with the Colton’s moonshine to stop them from firing their weapons. They were then taken into custody.

Elsewhere in the episode, Riley and Bozer tried to hack Jack’s CIA file to find out what happened with Matty. They failed and Matty found out what they were doing.

At the end of the episode, Matty joined in the truth or dare game.
