Mon-El’s (Chris Wood) parents were determined to get him to force him to leave Earth on the latest episode of Supergirl.
A series of bounty hunters were sent after Kara (Melissa Benoist) leading Mon-El to suspect that his parents were behind them. He confronted them but they denied all knowledge until one of the bounty hunters admitted that it was Rhea (Teri Hatcher) who had hired him.
Kara tried to make peace with Rhea but she was attacked with kryptonite. Mon-El agreed to leave Earth in exchange for Kara’s life. Once on board his parents ship, Mon-El was imprisoned.
J’onn (David Harewood) received orders from the President (Lynda Carter) not to engage with the Daxamite ship but he ignored that by helping Kara rescue Mon-El. Following a tense battle, Lar Gand (Kevin Sorbo) agreed to let Mon-El return to Earth.
Rhea was furious at her husband for betraying her and killed him by stabbing him.
Elsewhere in the episode Alex (Chyler Leigh) helped Maggie (Floriana Lima) get closure from an old relationship and the President was revealed to be an alien.
The next episode of the season is Ace Reporter. Lives are cast into jeopardy when Kara questions Lena’s ex-boyfriend Jack Spheer about his recent scientific breakthrough.
