Lucy (Abigail Spencer), Wyatt (Matt Lanter) and Rufus (Malcolm Barrett) were left stranded in the middle of the French and Indian War of 1754 on the latest episode of Timeless.
Flynn’s (Goran Višnjić) men sabotaged the Lifeboat meaning that the trio were unable to return home. Rufus wrote a message for Mason (Paterson Joseph), which he buried according to their protocol allowing Mason to find it in the present day.
The note was dug up but most of the words had disappeared leaving Mason and the team a challenge to understand what it said. While they were deciphering it, Lucy, Wyatt and Rufus were captured by the Shawnee tribe who ordered their execution but chose to save Rufus.
Rufus did some quick thinking and convinced the tribe’s chieftess to let them all go. After their release they headed to Fort Duquesne and found the items they needed to repair the Lifeboat. Back at Mason Industries Jiya (Claudia Doumit) figured out Rufus’ message and helped the Lifeboat navigate back to the right time and place.
On their return, Lucy, Wyatt and Rufus decided to move past their issues and Jiya admitted her true feelings for Rufus. Agent Christopher (Sakina Jaffrey) suspected that Mason was up to something and requested for him to be put under surveillance.
The next episode of the season is Space Race. As the nation follows the historic Apollo 11 space mission, Flynn arrives at mission control in 1969 intending to rewrite events on the momentous day.
