On the latest episode of Blindspot, one of Jane’s (Jaimie Alexander) tattoos sent the team on an undercover operation at a museum gala.
At the start of the episode Roman (Luke Mitchell) took Jane to Canada to try and show her that Sandstorm were fighting for good. He took her to a site of a lake that had been poisoned by toxic waste from a chemical plant. The government had known about the danger but done nothing resulting in hundreds of families destroyed when people got sick.
Later Shepherd (Michelle Hurd) tried to explain more to Jane about what they were doing and why. The chemical plant had been the catalyst and it sounded like her plan was coming together and something big would happen soon.
Back at the FBI, Patterson (Ashley Johnson) decoded a tattoo on Jane’s hand. It let them to discover a guy who had been using videogames to recreate realistic representations of real world locations. These were being disguised as game mods but were infact training missions for those carrying out real heists.
They determined that the next one would target a museum gala so Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and team got dressed up and headed there undercover.
Patterson investigated the basement but was grabbed from behind and nearly choked to death. The female attacker was interrupted by Weller who gave chase. They lost the attacker in the crowds but came across two bodies.
Jane eventually found the woman and they fought with weapons from the museum. She managed to escape but the team were able to track her down and capture her. It turned out that she wasn’t a terrorist but an ex-CIA agent. She had tried to expose corruption but had her identity erased and thought her daughter was killed. The team discovered her daughter was still alive and was able to rescue her and reunite the pair.
Elsewhere in the episode, Allie (Trieste Kelly Dunn) met again with Weller about the pregnancy and he said he wanted to be involved. Reade (Rob Brown) was having a hard time dealing with his repressed memories. He lost his temper and beat a suspect and almost lost it a second time. He was made to talk with Dr. Borden (Ukweli Roach) and admitted what was going on.
At the end of the episode, Reade was following his former Coach and Zapata (Audrey Esparza) hired the hacker that Reade had beaten up for a secret mission. Meanwhile, Nas Kamal (Archie Panjabi) showed Weller video evidence that Sandstorm had been watching him for over 20 years.
The next episode is Condone Untidiest Thefts and here’s the official synopsis:
Weller’s team work alongside US Marshal Allie Knight (Trieste Kelly Dunn) when a prominent politician survives an assassination attempt by the Irish mob.
