Leah Murphy (Tessa Ferrer) arrived back at Grey Sloan much to the shock of her former colleagues on the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy.

Following an abrupt departure a few years earlier over her lack of medical skills, Leah trained to become better and was hired by Maggie (Kelly McCreary). Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) reacted badly to her former lover/stalker’s return and the other interns were caught bitching about her in the cafeteria.

Elsewhere Alex (Justin Chambers) butted heads with Bailey (Chandra Wilson) over the case of a pregnant woman with a rash. He discovered that she had pancreatic cancer and he advocated a surgery that would save her baby, something that Bailey didn’t think they should proceed with.

Meanwhile Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) confided to Alex that she didn’t want to have a baby after her last pregnancy ended in tragedy, Andrew (Giacomo Gianniotti) started to develop feelings for Jo (Camilla Luddington), and Catherine (Debbie Allen) forced Bailey to look at the resident training programme.

The next episode of the season is Why Try To Change Me Now? The arrival of a new consultant puts all of the doctors on edge, especially once she starts stepping on toes in the OR.
